Alo Is Expected to Play in Gridiron Game

Times’ All-Star linebacker William Alo from Long Beach Poly is expected to play in the fifth Gridiron War football game at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Long Beach Veterans Stadium.
Alo, headed to Northern Arizona in the fall, will be joined in the game by many Times’ all-regional seniors, including Carson quarterback Bo Napoleon and running back Andre Bouvay from L.A. Fremont.

The San Fernando Valley’s ninth East-West All-Star football game will take place at 5 p.m. Sunday at Lake Balboa Birmingham High.
All-City running back Brian Stuart of Birmingham will lead the West team, and Los Angeles Loyola running back Trason Bragg is playing for the East.
