Naked Man Held After Woman’s Body Found

Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies found a naked and bloody man on a rooftop early Saturday in an unincorporated area near San Gabriel, and a woman was found dead in her home nearby.
Deputies were responding to a report of a prowler about 1:50 a.m. when they were redirected to the woman’s home in the 8500 block of Palma Vista Avenue.
About 400 yards away, deputies found the blood-smeared man, identified as George Pigman, 23, of Pasadena. He was arrested on suspicion of murder. Deputies declined to release the name of the 22-year-old victim.
