Funeral Set Friday for Firefighter Teran

Funeral services for a Riverside firefighter who died while helping to extinguish an abandoned house fire in the La Sierra area will be held Friday.
The funeral for Ed Teran, 43, is scheduled at 10:30 a.m. at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in the 4200 block of Lime Street in Riverside. Teran died of an apparent heart attack.
City fire officials said an arsonist set the fire.
In lieu of flowers, Teran’s family asks that donations be made to the Burn Institute of the Inland Empire, Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, 400 N. Pepper Ave., Colton.
