Sir Paul wings our way

Back in the mid-’60s, your youthful identity was largely determined by where you declared your allegiance -- to either the Beatles (heartfelt, sunny pop) or the Rolling Stones (sarcastic, shadowy rock ‘n’ roll). They’re much less the polarizing pair four decades later, but they’re still facing off, so to speak. While the Stones carry on with their tour in San Diego on Friday, Paul McCartney’s Beatles-centric show arrives in the Southland with two concerts at the Arrowhead Pond.
Paul McCartney, Arrowhead Pond, 2695 E. Katella Ave., Anaheim, 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Sold out. (714) 704-2500.
* Also at Staples Center, 1111 S. Figueroa St., L.A., 8 p.m. Nov. 29 and 30. $51.50 to $259.25. (213) 742-7340.
