Bank Robber’s Weapon Is a Note

Police on Wednesday were searching for man who robbed a World Savings Bank branch armed with a note.
The man entered the bank at 250 Broadway shortly after 11 a.m., police said. He handed a note to an employee that demanded money and then escaped with an unknown amount of cash.
The man was described as white, in his 30s or 40s, thin, about 5-foot-9 with a wrinkled neck and a hawk-like nose. He was wearing a flannel shirt over a white dress shirt with a black tie, sunglasses and hat.
