Another way to read her actions

What a pathetic, self-pitying, whining little girl Leslie Billera [“Think of It as a Sort of Party Favor,” Nov. 3] is, not to mention a petty thief. “Vengeance”? This guy did something so horrible that she just had to take revenge on him? I missed the part in her column where “Mr. Breitling” held her down and forced her to have sex with him, and the part where he signed a contract to call her the very next day, and to court her forevermore and finally to beg for her hand in marriage.

Give me a break. Here’s some advice: If she doesn’t want a one-night stand, she shouldn’t have one. If drinking makes her do stupid things she immediately regrets, why doesn’t she stop drinking? Un-be-lie-vable.
