Anyone for some Chick-fil-A?

It’s always great to learn where people go and what they do for fun. Tony Hale [My Favorite Weekend, Nov. 10] mentioned Chick-fil-A, a very popular fast-food chicken restaurant in the South, where I spent most of my life.
Good news, Tony, there is a Chick-fil-A in the Del Amo Fashion Center in Torrance.
My daughter and I drove over an hour from the Santa Clarita Valley to eat there when we first moved to California. We had a taste of nostalgia that was worth the three-hour round-trip drive.
As beautiful as California is, it’s also great to have small but memorable reminders of our pasts.
