EMI to Distribute Disney Music in Europe

EMI Group, the world’s third-largest music company, won the right to distribute Walt Disney Co.’s music in Europe, South Africa and the Middle East, replacing Warner Music Group Corp.
The deal includes more than 75 years of music from Disney’s catalog. Burbank-based Disney produces music by acts such as teen singer and actress Hilary Duff, and the distribution rights include soundtracks from films such as “Snow White” and “The Lion King,” the companies said.
