Santa Ana Man Hurt in Shooting, Suspect Held

One man was jailed and another hospitalized in critical condition Friday after an altercation escalated into a shooting, police said Saturday.
Edward Ceja, 32, of Santa Ana, was taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange with a gunshot wound to the head after the 9 p.m. incident at a home in the 1100 block of West Romneya Drive.
Jose Vargas, 19, of Fullerton, was arrested and booked on suspicion of attempted murder, police said.
