Driver Dies When His Vehicle Hits Tow Truck

An Ontario man died Sunday morning when the vehicle he was driving hit a parked tow truck on the Riverside Freeway near the East Avenue exit in Anaheim, a California Highway Patrol spokesman said.
The driver was identified at Cesar Rodriguez, 21, according to the Orange County coroner’s office.
Rodriguez was traveling west when he hit the truck at 6:45 a.m. and died instantly, the CHP spokesman said.
