The fall television season, which only officially began Monday, has racked up its first casualty. Fox has canceled “Head Cases” after just two low-rated outings.
The legal drama finished in fifth place in its Wednesday night time slot this week, attracting only about 3 million viewers, according to Nielsen Media Research.
“Head Cases,” starring Chris O’Donnell and Adam Goldberg, will be replaced temporarily by new episodes of “Nanny 911” until postseason baseball starts next month, the network said.
