Manhattan (3-8) at Pepperdine (4-11), 5 -- The Waves are starting to get their offense rolling, averaging 88.3 points over their last four games, and that includes an 88-66 loss to Connecticut. They are 2-2 in their last four games. Manhattan, the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference regular-season champion last season, is coming off a 74-61 loss to Long Beach State on Saturday -- its third consecutive loss and seventh in eight games.

UC Riverside (3-10) at Texas El Paso (7-6), 7 -- The Highlanders have lost eight consecutive games, but the last five have been by an average of 4.4 points. They are shooting only 63.8% from the free-throw line, including 58.3% in the last three games. Riverside is 0-7 on the road. Texas El Paso is averaging 78.8 points and has scored 92 points or more in its last three games, but hasn’t played since Dec. 23.
