Project manages to shore up the beach

A project to replenish sand to Waikiki’s Kuhio Beach has been completed, with some parts of the beach growing by 40 feet in width.
State officials finished the $475,000 project Friday. It restored an estimated 9,500 cubic yards of sand to Kuhio Beach.
