Check the rafters

Robyn Norwood and Ben Bolch are apparently young and properly affected by working at what they correctly perceive to be the downtown bureau of the Daily Trojan. I hope that they will permit an old Angeleno to help them with their problems in distinguishing between Trojans and Bruins on the basketball court.
The ones who win are the Bruins. The ones with 11 NCAA championship banners hanging over their home court are the Bruins. No living man shall ever see the same hanging from Galen’s beautiful rafters.
Your Trojans are now a very well-coached team. They are going to win games now and then from the kids in sky blue, but they are never going to generate the electricity that charges any arena, much like Notre Dame does with football, when the UCLA Bruins come onto the floor. The big boys are in town. That’s how you tell the difference.
