Baseball: In the Oct. 3 Sports section, a chart listed how American League teams ranked in stolen bases. The precede said the Angels were second in the major leagues this season with 139, and the chart itself showed the Angels’ major league baseball ranking was No. 2. However, the Angels were third overall in baseball, behind the Mets, who topped everyone, and the Orioles. The Angels were second when compared only with American League teams.
