L.A. Philharmonic to blog about tour

Fans can keep up with the Los Angeles Philharmonic when it leaves Monday for an 18-day concert tour of England, France, Spain and Portugal through a musicians’ journal that will be posted on www.laphil.com.
Violinist Stacy Wetzel, cellist Gloria Lum, bassist David Moore and keyboardist Joanne Pearce Martin will be among a group of 10 employees posting entries on, among other topics, what it takes to get 125 people from Los Angeles to London, how other venues’ acoustics compare with those at Walt Disney Concert Hall and how audiences respond to their concerts.
Entries will be posted every other day and will include photos and video clips of rehearsals.
