Reagan shooting: An article in the March 30 Section A about the 30th anniversary of the attempted assassination of President Reagan said John Hinckley Jr.’s third bullet hit Secret Service Agent Tim McCarthy and his fifth bullet hit Reagan. In fact, the fourth bullet hit McCarthy, and the sixth and final bullet hit Reagan.
