Man found dead in Angeles National Forest

Authorities are investigating the death of a man found in Angeles National Forest on Sunday morning.
A passerby spotted the man’s body lying on an embankment off the north side of Angeles Forest Highway near mile marker 5.62 and alerted police, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said.
The man, whose name was not released, was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of death was being investigated.
