Los Angeles firefighters Thursday evening were rescuing workers trapped in scaffolding on the side of a 27-story building in Century City.
The two workers were not injured but were stranded outside the building in the 10100 block of Santa Monica Boulevard, the Los Angeles Fire Department said.
Firefighters were placing the workers in rescue harnesses and hoisting them one at a time to the roof, where other firefighters were waiting to render assistance.
It was not immediately clear how the workers came to be stranded.
