7th annual Black & White Night in Hilo, Hawaii

Amble through downtown Hilo on the Big Island during this annual “strolling party.” Stores stay open late, and some visitors don black-and-white duds to compete for a best-dressed prize. Or listen in on free live jazz and nibble on the free food samples set out by participating businesses.
When, where: 5 to 9 p.m. Nov. 2 in downtown Hilo.
