Spring is a great time to visit Napa Valley vineyards, and the Blackbird Inn is providing an added incentive. The Craftsman-style B&B in downtown Napa, Calif., discounts a second night by half. So you can plan to stay a little longer and pay a little less.
The deal: Stay One Night, Receive Your Second Night Half Off is exactly that -- a 50% savings on Sundays through Thursdays. All rooms at this inn, with a wide front porch and stone fireplace, come with full breakfast for two and afternoon wine and hors d’oeuvres.
When: The offer is good for stays through June 15, subject to availability.
Tested: I checked the inn’s website for a stay starting May 9. With the discount, two nights cost $277 plus tax in Room No. 6 (queen-sized bed, bathroom with shower only) and $337 plus tax in Room No. 5 (queen sized-bed and a bathroom with jetted-spa bathtub and shower).
